Indira Cancer Trust
HAHAF is proud to announce, that we have partnered with Indira Cancer Trust to provide ongoing support to fight against Paediatric Cancer in memory of late Mrs. Indira Jayasuriya, a young mother who lost her fight against cancer by refusing to take chemotherapy to save her unborn child.
This heart-breaking story has prompted our executive committee to form a permanent alliance with ICT. Full Indira’s story can be read on www.indiracancertrust.org
Our initial fundraising event is planned to hold on 1st July 2023 at Lincoln of Toorak, Melbourne to help finish the “Suwa Arana” building project by ICT, where paediatric cancer patients will be provided with housing, treatments, post treatment consultations and comforts.
