Past Events

Our first major fundraising event along with Roshan Mahanama Trust and Indira Cancer Trust was successfully held at the Lincoln of Toorak on 01st of July 2023. Main objective of the event was achieved by raising more than LKR. 9.4 million ( AUD. 45,000.00) which is much needed funds for the Suwa Arana, a paediatric cancer care project located at 63, Hospital Road, Maharagama in close proximity to Apeksha Hospital, the major cancer hospital in Sri Lanka. 

“Suwa Arana” is the first paediatric palliative care centre and paediatric patient housing in Sri Lanka and declared open for its services in June 2022. This project was initiated by the Indira Cancer Trust in collaboration with Apeksha Hospital. 

Hope & Happiness Australia Foundation INC together with the Roshan Mahanama Trust and the Indira Cancer Trust, gratefully thank each and every Business Partners for their generous sponsorships, past Sri Lankan Cricketers for their presence and contributions, Celebrity Guests for gracing the event, Media Partners for their airing time allocated for the event promotions, and every team member of HAHAF, RMT, and ICT for their hard work behind the event. 

At last not least, we give our big thank to every participant on the occasion, who made our event a greater success with their presence and a shower of invaluable donations to the “Suwa Arana” project to provide its services to the helpless patients coming from remote areas of Sri Lanka.
